this horse would jump out of a stall to avoid the clippers. By allowing him to learn to target and making sure he knew he had the choice to interact or not and then pairing the target with the sound of the clipper being the marker signal for the reward of food he quickly got very brave. He still has a long way to go but it demonstrated very clearly the power of choice and the clicker.
