1. How many horses do you have that have appeared in film?

Currently nine.

2. What notable shows, etc., have they appeared in?

The Walking Dead, Fist Fight, Underground,Turn, Batman: The Dark Knight, Absorbine JR, Tires Plus and Hasbro Toys.

3. What sort of special training do your horses have?

Total trust in humans with extensive training in regards to set/filming equipment.

4. Do any of your film horses receive special treatment? (i.e. feed, exercise, etc.)

Poker Joe, 24, and Joker, 17, each get equine senior and Flex Plus, a joint supplement. All get lots of shavings. We try to keep them scratch free.

5. Do your horses “specialize” in any certain types of film?

I have stunt and cast horses. Our specialty is liberty.

6. Do you have any behind the scenes or funny stories about your horses related to filming?

On The Walking Dead, episode 513, while we were attacking, killing and eating, the black horse (Buttons) wouldn’t stop eating grass. I kept having to grab his head to stop him.

7. What are you most proud of with regard to your horses?

Their safety, health and happiness.

8. Tell us about your training regimen; how often do you work with your horses?

A little everyday I’m home. It all depends on the horse and what he needs.

9. Are your horses appearing in any upcoming shows?

Fist Fight and The Walking Dead.

10. Any final thoughts?

My horses have jobs. They know it and enjoy what they do. I’ve been riding all my life. Traveled the world performing on horseback and made a decent living. I owe my life to horses.
