The Canadian National Exhibition’s interactive HorseCapades program has been introducing people to the magical world of horses for more than a decade. Each summer, the CNE kicks off its programming with a FREE educational initiative that invites visitors of all ages to learn about horses, go on wagon rides* and participate in fun activities such as guessing a horse’s weight, petting horses, learning about grooming and shoeing, and offers pony rides for kids ages six and under.

The entire family can also enjoy a spectacular trick-riding show set to original music. HorsePower Live! is a high-energy showcase of pageantry, power and precision as riders and horses perform remarkable feats including barrel racing, trick riding, roping and hip-hop dressage in the Horse Palace Ring.

HorseCapades is FREE to all visitors, running from July 31 – August 18 at the Horse Palace, Exhibition Place. Groups of 10 or more people are asked to make reservations by emailing [email protected], or go to www.TheEX.com for more information.
