Horse Breeders & Owners Conference This Weekend

The annual Horse Breeders & Owners Conference taking place in Red Deer, Alberta, this weekend, and sponsored in part by the Horse Publications Group, boasts a stellar line-up of internationally known speakers on topics such as health, management, behaviour, training and competition.

Just to name a few, regular Horse-Canada contributor, trainer Josh Nichol, will conduct a presentation called “Find the Softness Within – Recognize the Tension You’ve Been Riding”. Well-known author, Marijke van de Water, will share insights into “Managing Laminitis with Nutrition” and Trish Dowling, DVM, will speak about “Drugs in the Performance Horse”.
