Equestrian Canada is hosting two biosecurity webinars on April 15, 2018, for Canadian equine veterinarians, facility owners, event operators and horse owners. Both sessions will begin at 12:00 p.m. (EST) and run until 1:30 p.m. They are free, but registration is required. Note that participants should have a high-speed internet connection, headphones and a computer.

Dr. Jean-Yin Tan will lead the Veterinarian Biosecurity Training session. Equine veterinarians will participate actively in learning how to coach clients who manage events or facilities on how to develop biosecurity plans, including rationale for development. Click here to register.

Dr. Ashley Whitehead will facilitate the Facility and Event Operators Biosecurity session, in which people will learn how to develop a biosecurity plan for their farm or event, coming away with a draft plan after the workshop. Click here to register.
