Sean and Dorothy Fitzhenry’s talented homebred filly Dixie Moon wore down Avie’s Mineshaft in the $125,000 Carotene Stakes on Saturday at Woodbine.

Sean and Dorothy Fitzhenry’s homebred Dixie Moon will attempt to pick up a second Canadian classic win in Sunday’s $225,000 Wonder Where Stakes at Woodbine.

Miss Mo Mentum chased down 8-5 favourite Dixie Moon in the stretch to win the $125,000 Selene Stakes by a neck on Saturday afternoon at Woodbine Racetrack.
