My first Challenge Day with the six horses went well. I drew a BIG ‘A’ on each stall wall and also had a small ‘A’ that I could hold in my hand. Every horse enjoyed touching both letters. Pax, Zelador and Zeloso picked up the small ‘A’ when I asked, “Where’s the letter ‘A’?”
I also have some tall white cones with the 20 x 40 dressage letters on them. The cones are about 18″ high. I’ll also use them. I can probably place a tap on top of the cone and teach the horse how to carry the cone using the tab as opposed to destroying the cone.
