The Global Champions Arabians Tour (GCAT) is delighted to announce its arrival in the iconic city of Cannes on June 11-12 for the fourth stage of this world-renowned series. Known for its luxurious charm and breathtaking vistas, Cannes offers an exquisite setting for showcasing the splendour and grace of Arabian horses.
The GCAT is a premier series that celebrates the beauty and heritage of purebred Arabian horses, who will stand before a panel of 20 esteemed judges from all over the world to be evaluated on a set of five criteria – type, head and neck, body and topline, legs, and movement – each worth 20 points, allowing a maximum possible score of 100 points.
Competitors from around the globe will converge in Cannes, vying for the most substantial prize money in Arabian horse show history. Each stage of the tour has witnessed remarkable performances, and Cannes promises to be no exception. The prize fund for Cannes alone amounts to over €1,000,000, with bonus prize money at the end of the season for the leading female, leading male, leading handler and overall leading horse.
