Avie’s Flatter, Canada’s champion two-year-old male, looms as the horse to beat when he faces 13 other hopefuls in the Queen’s Plate at Woodbine.

Ivan Dalos’ homebred Avie’s Flatter captured the $225,000 Coronation Futurity for Canadian-foaled two-year-olds on Sunday at Woodbine Racetrack.

Avie’s Flatter cruised to a 5 1/4-length score in the 82nd running of the Cup and Saucer Stakes at Woodbine Racetrack on Sunday afternoon.

Bold Script and Avie’s Flatter will be in good company with fellow Canadian-bred two-year-olds in Sunday’s $225,000 Cup and Saucer Stakes.
