Dora arrived last Saturday and she’s staying with us for the winter. She’ll be in our spring show.
When I went to the paddock gate and called to Dora (a pony wintering with us) so that we could go to the arena I noticed that Dora, Kye and Spring Song were near the marsh, over 50 metres away. I called a few times, then entered the paddock. Kye stopped grazing and walked 10+ metres over to Dora. He calmly escorted her up the hill to me, explaining as they approached that when Winnie calls you the polite thing to do is to join her.
Amazing. I’ve never seen anything like that before.
