On Friday November 8th, at 3:30 pm in the Animal Theatre at The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto, discover the magic of liberty work as Amber Marshall and Dan James demonstrate the techniques behind some of the most memorable moments on Heartland and beyond. Learn the secrets of this incredible horse training method from two of the best in the industry.

Drawing of a woman painting.How about a one-of-a-kind Royal Paint Party on Saturday, November 9th at 2 pm, hosted by Amber Marshall and led by professional artist Mark Grice?! Learn the step-by-step process of painting a horse and create a beautiful keepsake that will last a lifetime.

Each participant will receive a pre-drawn horse-themed canvas (16” x 20”) and all necessary painting supplies, including paint, brushes, and table covers, will be provided. Alongside Amber, Mark Grice, an experienced artist and horse trainer, will guide you through the process, ensuring a fun and creative experience. Light snacks and beverages will be included.

Make Sunday a full day of Rodeo at The Royal, kicking off with The Royal Rodeo Qualifier, presented by Ontario Ford Dealers at 11 am. See top cowboys and cowgirls from across the country compete in qualifying events for The Royal Rodeo Finals competition Sunday afternoon at 2 pm. Events include:

  • Saddle Bronc Riding
  • Bareback Bronc Riding
  • Pole Bending
  • Barrel Racing
  • Bull Riding

And finally, enjoy a dazzling performance as the Canadian Cowgirls light up the Coliseum with their incredible light show routine. Catch them at The Royal Horse Show on November 9th (matinee) and November 10th at 2 pm during The Royal Rodeo. The Cowgirls’ will also perform spectacular routines at the Animal Theatre on Saturday, November 9th, with performances at 10:30 am and 6 pm.
