Horsepower Magazine to be Featured on Air

Susan Stafford, editor of Horsepower Magazine, will be featured on the University of Guelph’s radio show Hoofbeats on Sunday, March 16th at 9:00 a.m. to promote the Horse Publications Group’s stable of magazines.

Stafford’s appearance is in celebration of Horsepower’s 20th anniversary and will include an on-air trivia contest and a subscription give-away.

Stafford will also be promoting her book Pocket Pegasus: Flash and the Turtle Creek Triad, which she describes as “a horsey fantasy ‘tween novel about a 13-year-old girl whose favourite Pegasus model horse comes to life during a violent thunderstorm.

“It follows their adventures while they try to keep the talking, flying 8” high winged horse a secret from her parents and the rest of the world.”

Pocket Pegasus: Flash and the Turtle Creek Triad is being published by Breakwater Books Ltd. later this summer.
