Movie fans are buzzing about the third and final instalment in the Venom trilogy. Although Venom: The Last Dance, starring Tom Hardy (who also directed) won’t be out until October 25, it hasn’t stopped franchise devotees from gushing over one of Hardy’s costars.
For those of you not up on your Marvel universe, Venom follows struggling journalist Eddie Brock (Hardy) who gains superpowers after becoming the host of an alien symbiote (Venom) whose species plans to invade our planet. The gist is Venom appears almost as Eddie’s sidekick, but one who can turn Eddie into a killing machine. In the upcoming Last Dance, Eddie and Venom are on the run when they are hunted by both of their worlds.
In the movie, Venom Horse makes a sudden appearance and an instant viral sensation was born. In the clip below, Brock (Hardy) asks Venom how fast he can make the horse run without killing it. “There’s only one way to find out,” Venom responds before turning the bay horse into an enormous black surreal equine with fangs and the alien’s signature tongue. Brock climbs aboard Venom Horse as it leaps and flies over the canyons.
