The Mane Event is coming to Westerner Park in Red Deer, Alberta, April 25-27, 2014.
Alberta’s largest equine event features an exciting roster of clinicians, including: Rob Gage, of Judge my Ride, for Jumping; Peggy Brown for Centered Driving/Centered Riding; Janet Foy for Dressage; Les Vogt for Reining; Storme Camarillo Dahl for Barrel Racing; Jennifer Bauer for Gaited Horses; Dana Hokana for Showing & Horsemanship; Steve Rother for Horsemanship; and Lyn Ringrose-Moe for Cowboy Dressage.
The Trainers Challenge will showcase the skills of Tom Durocher (AB), Kent Williamson (AB) and Russ Krachun (ON), as they work with young, unstarted horses over just three days. Judging is based 10 per cent on the horse, 60 per cent on the trainer’s ability to train the horse, and 30 per cent on the trainer’s ability to educate the attendees. The trainer that gets his horse to do the most or does a better presentation at the finals won’t necessarily win. The winner of the challenge will be the trainer that can achieve the highest success with both the horse and the spectators.
If you can’t make it in person, you can catch the Trainers Challenge on pay per view webcast for $29.95, until April 14th. After that the cost is $39.95. Click here to register.
The trade show has expanded, again, and features more new companies from Canada and the United States.
