Online polls are now open for members of the Ontario Equestrian Federation to vote for the directors at large they would like to represent them on the board of directors.

All adult members are eligible to vote and are encouraged to exercise that right. There are four director at large positions available and members can cast their vote online or in person at the Annual General Meeting, which takes place on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 5 p.m. in the Sports Lounge at Mohawk Racetrack in Campbellville, ON. Election results will be announced at the end of the event.

“If you are an eligible member, please take the time to vote. This is your opportunity to have a say in who will be representing your interests in Ontario’s equine industry,” says Dianne Graham, the executive director of the Ontario Equestrian Federation (OEF). “We’re optimistic that we are going to have a strong voter turnout and look forward to welcoming new members and long-time supporters to our AGM in September to reflect on the past year and look ahead at what’s to come.”

The OEF invites all members to attend the AGM. It provides members with the opportunity to learn about the progress made by the OEF staff and board over the year, the plans for the next year and the opportunity for members to express concerns and/or ask questions of their federation
