On Sept. 14, 2016 during the Grade 1b Individual Test at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, Canadian Para-Dressage Team member, Ashley Gowanlock of Surrey, BC had a fall from her horse following the conclusion of her test. Gowanlock was assessed by the Rio 2016 medical staff and found to have no serious injuries. She has been transported to hospital for further testing as a precaution.
