U.S. Senators have re-introduced the Prevent All Soring Tactics Act, which would amend the Horse Protection Act of 1970 and end the practice of soring.

Ed Whitfield (R-KY) introduced the Prevent All Soring Tactics Act of 2013. The bill is intended to strengthen the Horse Protection Act to prevent soring.
