Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) at Tryon Resort is pleased to announce the addition of the Blue Ridge Mountain Horse Trials at TIEC to the venueโ€™s competition calendar, hosted September 14-15, 2019 and including two days of national competition from Beginner Novice through Advanced including Modified. All levels will run Cross-Country at the White Oak Course onsite, which was the host of the FEI World Equestrian Gamesโ„ข (WEG) Tryon 2018 Eventing Cross-Country and Driving Marathon competitions. TIEC has hosted competitions such as the American Eventing Championships and The Fork at TIEC CCI 4*-S, and adds the Blue Ridge Horse Mountain Horse Trials as a permanent fixture on the fall calendar to further expand offerings for the Eventing community.

โ€œWe are pleased to add another Eventing competition to our 2019 calendar, continuing our efforts to grow equestrian sport across all disciplines. We strongly believe that giving riders of all levels access to facilities of this caliber is critical to the growth and success of equestrian sport, and we welcome all competitors to compete with us in September,โ€ said Eric Straus, TIEC General Manager of Equine Operations.

Competitors can expect a world-class welcome with eight onsite restaurants, seven barns with 1,200 permanent stalls immediately adjacent to the competition rings, and numerous onsite lodging options available. Saturday, September 14, will feature Intermediate and Advanced Show Jumping competition hosted in Tryon Stadium as part of TIECโ€™s signature โ€œSaturday Night Lightsโ€ event series, with free, family-friendly entertainment and VIP competition dining experiences available.
