“MEN STAND IN LINE FOR HIM”

ESKIMINZIN, a first time starting 2yo for owner/breeder Jecara Farms (Breet Delmas)  and the first start for his sire Cold Harbor, was a shocking winner of a maiden allowance at Woodbine on Sunday. At 18 to 1, the dark bay colt and Patrick Husbands wore down the sizzling pace and speedster Water Polo (Pool Play, his first starter) and won the debut in 59.44. His Beyer Figure was 55.
Trained by Analisa Delmas, the colt is out of the 1999 mare Ms Forum (18 years old) and the mare’s first foal to race in more than half a dozen years. She produced 2yo debut winner and stakes winner Atlas Shrugs years ago but has not had many reports of foals since then.

Cold Harbor raced until he was 9-years-old and is a handsome dark bay by Distored Humor who raced for Fieldstone Farms and Ron Delmas through 2014. He won 6 of 60 races and $378,000.

Eskiminzin – from Wikipedia:

Men Stand in Line for Him”; or Hashkebansiziin, Hàckíbáínzín – “Angry, Men Stand in Line for Him”, 1828-1894) was a local group chief of the Aravaipa band of the San Carlos group of the Western Apache during the Apache Wars. Born about 1828 near the Pinal Mountains as a Pinaleño/Pinal Apache, through marriage into the Aravaipa, he became one of them and later their chief.

PARTYONTHEPATIO did not win a race at all last year after 7 outings but is 3 for 3 in 2017 for 2 different owners/trainers
The 6yo Ontario bred by Harlington, bred in ONtario by Hill ‘n’ Dale Equine Holdings Inc. was claimed again on Sunday following her win for $16,000 claiming (which came after a win in a $68,882 allowance race and a win for $20,00 claiming).

On Sunday,, the mare’s 5th career win came for Bruno Shickedanz and trainer Martin Drexler (their 2nd win with the mare) and Eurico da Silva rode.
It was a race that set up beautifully for Partyonthepatio as the early pace was not only hotly contested but way too fast for the gals battling all the way and the off the pace types could not help but take the major prizes.

Jamie Attard claimed Party onthepatio from this, her 23rd career race.
After many races early in the day that featured wild pace battles, the Bison City Stakes, the 2nd jewel of the Triple Tiarar for Canadian-bred fillies, was the complete opposite set-up-wise.

ENSTONE, owned by the East West Stable, got away with fractions of 25.50, 50.17 in the 1 1/16 mile race worth $225,000 and would not let 4 to 5 favourite Mythical Mission past.
Enstone, bred by Bill Graham, is trained by Mark Casse and Patrick Husbands stole the show on board this daughter of Tiznow.
Enstone had been 4th in the Oaks and 2nd in the Selene after winning the 7 furlong Fury Stakes.

Casse team players were right back in the winner’s circle with the imposing TOUR DE FORCE, who battled back to beat Bear at Last in an allowance/optional claiming race. This Tiznow fellow was a $1.35 million yearling 3 years ago and he was making his first start at Woodbine after a couple of poor runs in Kentucky.
Gary Boulanger rode the bay colt. His Beyer Figure for 1 1/8 miles in 1:52.18 was 81.
