Right now I’m too busy reading textbooks at school to read for fun! But usually I read a wide range of books from Jane Austen to Hunter S. Thompson.

Grey’s Anatomy and How I Met Your Mother for sure.

Everything!…  but country.

Spaghetti and meat balls!

Buy myself a small barn in England

Facebook… it’s quite a serious addiction

Probably England or Island

Where do you want to see yourself in five years, not only in regard to horses?
Hopefully vet school….

Tell us about your first horse or pony.
Tessa was part Clydesdale with thoroughbred and hackney pony in her…. best first horse ever!

Is there someone you consider your mentor?
I think William Fox-Pitt is not only an amazing eventer, but a very respectable and humble person as well. Also my coach Ian Roberts who has helped me a lot over the past many years.

What is your favourite show venue, and why?
Kentucky Horse Park

If you could be granted one wish, what would it be?
Never have a lame horse!

What is one of your worst habits/faults?
Probably my messiness and inability to throw anything out… literally anything.

Do you have any good luck charms or superstitions that you live by?
One thing I’ve learned is to never be superstitious… especially with riding. It can mess up a show if you’re too focused on a lucky pair of breeches and not the competition.

Do you have a cat or dog? Does it go to shows with you?
I have a dog Spencer, who gets really car sick so he hasn’t come to many shows… and Riley my cat stays at home.

What are your biggest pet peeves?
Untidy helmet hair at shows!

If you couldn’t ride anymore, what would you do with your life, besides coaching?
I always wanted to get really into yoga and teach it in a Caribbean island.

Who is your favorite non-equestrian celebrity?
I have to say Johnny Depp… definitely.

What was the scariest experience of your life?
Probably dressage at NAJYRC
