What other than riding do you do to keep fit?
Christilot is very active and enjoys gymnastics, skiing and swimming in her spare time. But let’s not forget SHOPPING!

What mentors do you have, in and outside of the equestrian industry?
George Jacobsen, Mrs. Stephens and Willi Schultheis

What kind of car do you drive?
Jaguar

If you could ride anyone else’s horse, which one would you choose?
"Milton – 10 years ago."

Who is someone you have never met, in or out of the horse industry that you would like to? Why?
Robert Redford " Why?? Don’t be STUPID!"

What is your favorite quote and who said it?
"The dogs keep barking – and the caravan marches on." George Jacobsen

What is one of your worst habits?
Double-checking everything – not always a bad thing you might say.

What has been the scariest experience of you life so far?
"THE DENTIST"

What is one item you cannot leave the home without?
Credit Card!

What are some words of advice that you would like the readers of our magazines and website to remember you by?
"Never Complain – Never Explain"

What are you biggest pet peeves?
Christilot does not like many people’s work ethic. Unions!

How do you relieve stress before a big competition?
Christilot uses aromatherapy and listens to music. She is a big fan of Mozart, CCR and Van Morrison.

If you couldn’t ride anymore, what would you do with your life, besides coaching?
Christilot would like to write and will probably anyway while continuing her riding.

What has been the most embarrassing moment you have had in riding?
She has two –
1) Jumping from A to X at Fontain Bleu CDI France
2) Having her curb bit practically fall out of her horse’s mouth in a competition in Detroit years ago!

What was the most memorable/important show to you? Why?
The Montreal Olympics where she placed 7th individually.

Do you have any good luck charms or superstitions that you live by?
She does not have any, "just intuition!"

What is the weirdest experience you’ve ever had with a fan?
"One wanted to shoot me he said." (maybe the scariest experience too!!)

If you were an animal, what animal would you be?
"A horse of course!"

If someone ran into you on the street, what kind of clothes would you be wearing?
"Hopefully appropriate!"
