With Easter just around the corner, thoughts turn to spring blooms, colourful hats, and of course, chocolate! And as we all know, chocolate is delivered each year by the Easter … pony?
That’s right, this year, one adorable miniature horse has become a finalist in the Cadbury Bunny Tryouts: Rescue Pet Edition. The winner will star in a Cadbury commercial, and will also receive a cash prize of $5,000 and another $5,000 paid by the sponsor directly to the rescue ret shelter of the winner’s choice.
The tiny palomino miniature horse goes by the name Stewie Vuitton and he was rescued in November 2021 at an auction in Ohio. He’s all of 23” tall and suffers from dwarfism. That hasn’t prevented Stewie, who now calls Massachusetts home, from becoming a beloved therapy horse who visits hospitals, veterans, and schools, bringing joy to people of all ages. He’s part of the family at Lifting Spirits Miniature Therapy Horses, who spreads wellbeing through equine therapy in their state.
Voting ended March 14. The winner will be announced on or about March 21, 2023, so check the Cadbury contest site and social media to find out “who will be the next Cadbury bunny?”!
