Rancher Joan Patterson of Desboro, Ontario, won $60 million on the February 5th Lotto Max draw.

When she picked up her prize, Patterson, 63, told reporters she has purchased a new truck,plans to buy a horse trailer and re-fence the ranch, where she lives with her husband Jim, who would like an RV. She added that she would also like to get a silver Corvette convertible.

A retired flight attendant, Patterson went two weeks before checking her ticket. When she claimed her winnings, she was joined by John Henry of Mississauga, Ontario – together cashing in on Canada’s biggest-ever lottery hand-out in one day. Henry won the $60 million from the Christmas Day Lotto Max jackpot.
