The awesome Frankel made a seamless transition from Mile to Middle Distance, crushing his rivals over the extended mile and a quarter in the Juddmonte International Stakes to win by an easy seven lengths from Farhh and St Nicholas Abbey.

The world’s best racehorse extended his unbeaten career record to 13 races and whether his official rating will change will be known tomorrow morning – currently rated 140, he could now match or top Dancing Brave’s all-time high of 141.

His final race is likely to be the £1.3m QIPCO Champion Stakes, the highlight of QIPCO British Champions Day at Ascot on Saturday October 20th.
