An exercise rider and the horse he was riding died at Woodbine Racetrack on Tuesday June 24th.

The three-year-old filly, Tawney’s Wish, collapsed and fell on top of Mourad Boudraa, who suffered head injuries, and was pronounced dead on the scene shortly after 6:00 a.m.

Early reports indicate that Boudra was a top exercise rider, who rode horses for Harold and Jessie Ladouceur, whose filly Paladin Bay recently finished fourth in the Woodbine Oaks.
