Ottawa, ON — Equine Canada is pleased to announce the official launch of its new and improved, fully bilingual website, www.equinecanada.ca.

The result of months of planning and hard work, the new website will provide users with a unique and helpful ‘web portal’ which will encompass Equine Canada, and all of its divisions and disciplines. Over the next 6-8 months, each of EC’s 11 disciplines, Breed Sports, Dressage, Driving, Endurance, Eventing, Para-Equestrian, Pony Club, Reining, Saddleseat, Show Jumping, and Vaulting, will be implemented into the new web portal, improving efficiency for users, and cost savings to disciplines, through centralized hosting and technical support.

“We are very excited to offer the equestrian community a more visually appealing, user friendly and useful website, available in both official languages to serve all members in Canada,” stated Equine Canada President Al Patterson. “From online sport license renewals and free access to the Rules of Equine Canada, to the latest equestrian news, results and officials, the Equine Canada website will be an asset to equestrian enthusiasts from all walks of the industry.”

With easy navigation, and an appealing design, the new EC website enables users to access all of EC’s services, including member perks and discounts, online sport license renewals, competition results, documents and forms, and coaching and rider level information, providing the equestrian industry with a ‘one stop shopping’ experience to fit their needs. In addition, the latest, news, equine and athlete medications updates and Breeds & Industry information is readily available.

“The new site is developing with technology that allows for multiple people at EC to have authority to add and update content with little technical expertise required,” explained Equine Canada Chief Executive Officer Debbie Millar. “The result of this will be an information source that is always up to date. Just as important will be the fact that all content across the site will be available in both official languages.”

Equine Canada would like to give a special thanks to Dodge Ink Inc. for their assistance and hard work in designing, developing and publishing the website.
