The 2024 Cross National Working Equitation Camp and Cup is returning to Canada, August 26th through September 1st, at the Moose Jaw Exhibition Co. in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, hosted by Working Equitation Canada.

The Cross National Working Equitation Camp & Cup is an equestrian event like no other. Centered on camaraderie and education, this event welcomes top equine educators and participants from around the world and from all levels of the sport.

The four day W.E. Camp is designed to allow participants to learn more about Working Equitation while developing a partnership with their equine athlete. Participants can take advantage of the many opportunities for learning including; Morning Wellness sessions, two ridden sessions per day with a selection of the 20+ global W.E. presenters in attendance, evening educational presentations, a Cattle Trial Workshop, and Mock Trial sessions. Global exchange of horsemanship ideas and friendships are at centerstage with the evening social events, and the Cross National Cup Gala & Night of Thanks held at the conclusion of the Camp portion to celebrate all participants, presenters, sponsors and volunteers!

Immediately following the Cross National Working Equitation Camp there will be a three-day competition: The Cross National W.E. Cup. Three of the traditional Working Equitation Trials will be represented ‒ Dressage, EOH, and Speed, with Individual and Team Awards up for grabs.

There are an expected 150+ horse-and-rider pairs competing throughout the two events, with participants traveling from throughout Canada, the USA, Australia, and the Netherlands. In addition to the fabulous slate of activities, there will be equine vendors on site for the duration of the event. Auditing any of the sessions, viewing the competition portions, or shopping at the event are all FREE of charge to spectators. If ever you wanted to get out to watch great horsemanship in a fun environment ‒ this is the event to attend!

Working Equitation is a rapidly growing equestrian sport in North America that welcomes all backgrounds of equine enthusiasts. All traditions and many breeds are represented in a sport that focuses on classical horsemanship and the development of horses with functionality. The sport tests horse and rider pairs over four trials: Dressage Trial, Ease of Handling Trial (EOH), Speed Trial, and Cattle Trial.
