The Canadian Eventing Committee is pleased to announce the teams representing Canada at the 2012 Adequan FEI North American Junior and Young Riders Championships. Presented by Gotham North, the Championships will be held July 17-22 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY.  Riders will compete for top honours in team and individual competition in two divisions-Junior One Star Championships (open to riders 14-18 years of age) and Young Rider Two Star Championships (for riders 16-21 years of age).

The North American Junior Young Riders Championships (NAJYRC) are held annually under the rules of the Federation Equestre Internationale-the international governing body for equestrian sport. The 2012 competition hosts the Olympic disciplines of eventing, dressage and show jumping as well as FEI disciplines of reining, vaulting and endurance.  Many of the world’s top event riders, including many Olympic gold medalists, began their careers at the NAJYRC.
