Equine Canada is pleased to announce that a Breed Sport Judge Clinic with Karen Homer-Brown is set to take place on April 5 and 6, 2014 in Edmonton, AB.

Homer-Brown has a wealth of experience training, competing, selling, and breeding a wide range of breeds, from Arabians to Morgans to Hackneys. Her competitive career includes winning World Champion titles in the Morgan Carriage Pleasure Driving and Obstacle Pair divisions.

She has been judging breed sports for over 30 years, and holds 14 licenses with four different equestrian organizations. Her judging experience includes multiple national and world championships. As a breed sport judge clinician, Homer-Brown is sought-after internationally, and has put on clinics not only in North America, but also in England, Brazil, and South Africa.

Clinic Description:
This comprehensive two day clinic will give participants the opportunity to learn judging techniques and guidelines from Homer-Brown that match the criteria for General Breed Sport Judge accreditation. Covered divisions will include Arabian, Morgan, Saddlebred, Hackney, Road Horse and Saddle Seat Equitation.

Current and prospective judges are encouraged to attend in order to help ensure judge status maintenance. Certified instructors and coaches may also use the clinic for professional development updating hours. Additionally, all breed sport enthusiasts interested in gaining knowledge of everything from show ring techniques to current rules are welcome to attend.

One day only – $125.00
