Canadians were prominent at the 2014 Breeders Crown championships at the Meadowlands Racetrack in New Jersey with two wins, two seconds and three thirds in four Breeders Crown races on Friday.
The good Breeders Crown form held on Saturday night as Canadian-connected horses added five wins, two seconds and two thirds for a championship total of seven wins, four seconds and five thirds.
Also, John Campbell, originally from Ailsa Craig, Ontario, drove Shelliscape to a win in the Mare Pace (Race 8).
