Bill and I received an email recently from Colleen Archer who is writing an article for a horse magazine. The question in the article was: can a horse pick out the correct item without human body language directing the horse?
All I can say is, “Ya gotta love a trick-trained horse!” Just grab one out of the field, point the camera and shoot. Photo session complete in a few minutes!
In the photo you’ll see Zeloso going to the specific object I ask for. We placed three items near each other so all three objects could be in the same picture. The objects are a saddle pad (which he thought smelled “funny” and wasn’t too eager to pick it up), a melon coloured towel and the bunny.
